It is not feel good, it does not contain likeable characters, but it is simply the best movie i have seen so far this year. La haine was made over 20 years ago, and it feels like it could have come out last week. The film opens with a montage of footage from various riots following the hospitalisation of a young man named abdel ichacha.
There Are Plenty Of Interesting Camera Angles And Cinematic Shots;
La haine is a great example of genius filmmaking. Cinematography in black and white was superb. It's also an essentially plotless film, which is by no means a complaint.

Highly involving and superbly made. The french black and white film la haine was an artistic depiction of three young men’s struggles with life in the housing projects. It's provocative, harrowing, funny and hideously prescient.
